The mission of Junior Achievement is to develop and implement economic education programs for young people through a partnership between business and education.  The programs are implemented by Member Nations to help young people gain an understanding of:

  • The Importance of Market-Driven Economies;

  • The Role Of Business In A Global Economy;

  • The Commitment of Business To Environmental And Social Issues;

  • The Commitment of Business To Operate In An Ethical Manner;

  • The Relevance of Education In The Workplace;

  • The Impact of Economics On Their Future

Junior Achievement of Antigua & Barbuda through its limited resources has reached approximately 5000 students since it's inception. Students have been given the opportunity to plan, organize and execute various projects over the years which range from Newsletters, Magazines, Talent Shows, Valentines Presents- Sales, Ornamental Baskets, Christmas Cards, Making & Selling cakes, Bar-B-Ques, Making of Scrunches, Car Wash, Cook Books, Flower Pot Holders, New Year Cards etc.

The ROTARY Club and Junior Achievement retain an extremely close relationship, and share a common building.
The largest sponsor this term is Stanford International Bank who has contributed
$EC50,000.00 for the last two years.
